Falzthurntal

The not-so-good-as-we-might-have-hoped weather lasted for almost exactly 24 hours from lunchtime yesterday until middle of today, but after that we escaped, walking up through Pertisau and into the Falzthurn Valley which provided a choice of two excellent mountain guesthouses offering beer/coffee/cake etc.  

Not many people about but lots of bird life around - and also the background rumble of mini-avalanches higher up the mountains.

There was a lazier way to get to the top of the valley (see the extra), but we completed the walk on foot, but still probably didn't work off the excellent apple strudel.
