A house for Essex

by Grayson Perry.

This last day of what started to feel like a holiday, we went by light rail to Canary Wharf. We felt very small between the high buildings.
From Canary Wharf it was not far from Poplar. We have been looking for Nonnatus house, but we didn't have many clues.

On our way to the ferry in Harwich we changed trains at Manningtree station to continue on the slow train and get of at Wrabness, where Grayson Perry built the his dream house. After we've been to the exposition in the Bonnefanten museum, it has been in our mind to go to visit it this weekend. It was a bit surreal to walk so close to the house.

And then the waiting in the terminal started. The ferry will leave tonight at eleven.
