Dart's Farm

Today I dropped my friend at the station to return home.  We have had a lovely time and she has been so fortunate with the weather.  Despite it being a mid morning train we still managed a quick look at the sea and a short explore of Exeter town center.  

I stopped in at Dart's Farm on the way home to spend some time at the bird hide on this gloriously warm sunny day.  No one was around at the hide and I spotted two woodpeckers, a heron, some coal tits and 4 Canada Geese that were looking after 8 young together.  They swam out with one at the front and three bringing up the rear.

Otherwise a quiet day with a little weeding at the allotment.
