Monte Leone hut

Our first day of four days hiking.
Up from the Simplon pass to the Wasenhorn and down again to spend the night at the Monte Leone hut.
Lots of bad luck. Lost one of my gloves, wrong path up the mountain (the hard route, decided to turn around just a few meters from the top...), spare battery for camera turned out to be already empty, ripped my trousers wide open at the bum - so much about the classic alpine technique of bum-sliding down the worst parts...
But, to sum it up: Beautiful moonscape sceneries!
