Celebrating Contrast?

Sitting at the airport in Bergen, at the start of our two flight trip home.  We've just done total self service bag check-in.  Hope it works!

Took ourselves of for our last walk around Bergen this morning where we visited the Hanseatic Museum - the office and the living accommodation - very interesting but a failure to accept change brought about the decline of the league. An insular view instead of a world view.

After that, it was necessary to find a Tiny Tuesday Blip on the theme of celebration!  A bit difficult that, so I decided to celebrate the contrast between Little and Large.  The colourful little electric boat, Beffen, ferries 8 people at a time across Bergen Harbour.  We went on it yesterday.  The tall ship you can see the front section of must carry an enormous crew and take some stopping once it's got all its sails up!  You can just see our hotel in the background too.  It was built in 1920 as part of the commercial development Bergen underwent at that time.

Hope you have enjoyed our holiday with us!  Meanwhile, we wait at the airport for the first flight, Bergen to Copenhagen.
