Apples

Another busy day at work and another gratuitous apple blossom EB on another glorious day in NW Britain.

Down in the SE, under leaden skies and pouring rain the lady cyclists are being blown south by the current weather system's strange northerly winds. They had lunch at Newark-on-Trent and successfully reached the flesh pots of Grantham tonight despite a puncture 1.5 miles short of the finish. With tomorrow's étape being just 58km on the flat to a particular friend in Corby, tomorrow's challenge will probably be more one of drinking than cycling.

Here, tomorrow evening's forecast is even more glorious than tonight's so I'll postpone the sunset run in the hills.
