Techniquest Exploration.

Fantastic second day on our mini-break in Cardiff Bay.

We enjoyed our 5* hotel buffet breakfast, in early morning glorious sunshine, watching the sun sparkle on the waves..and then (sadly) waving the hotel goodbye, set off for Techniquest, Cardiff's Science & Discovery interactive exploration centre. An early start meant we had the place almost to ourselves, and it was very well done; Harry had a great time playing...and I tried to introduce the science theory behind each of the games. Ha Ha! Not too sure how much he absorbed. But we both had a great time.

Post lunch, and yet more chocolate ice-cream for H, we walked across the entire width of the bay on the recently constructed Cardiff Bay Barrage; a manmade construction which was part of the rejuvenation project and links Cardiff marina with Penarth marina. Harry managed the two mile walk there, playing a balancing game on the rocks of the barrage, but opted for the  road-train return, where he lost himself in his newly acquired Rubik's Cube. Very retro!
