A tiny fly. one of many, is  being attracted to this rotten smelling skunk cabbage blooming right next to our house. It's some special sort, but I don't know which. The previous owners planted it years ago, and for a few days in the beginning of summer we have to put up with the foul odor. The plant is quite impressive looking, so we have not gotten rid of it.
