Rose Petal Confetti........

My Sister's Son is getting married at the end of August. She has decided to use Rose Petals as a confetti on the great day and  has known for some time that we have a rose garden and asked us if we would collect the petals and dry them out ready for the occasion. Well, here is the first batch. I will see how they come out when they are dried.
The airing cupboard is already smelling of the scents they naturally produce.
Phew!! Who says I don't come up smelling of roses!
We did some research on how to dry them out and it is quite simple.
Pick the roses off the plant after they have past their best, then pick each petal off and lay on kitchen roll and put in the airing cupboard for 24-48hrs to dry out.
Apparently ordinary confetti is not used these days much as  some of it is non bio-degradable. But rose petal confetti is. This is probably another EU Directive!!!!
We are all looking forward to the great occasion..

Hope you are all well.

Take care.
