Cwmorthin Slate Mine

Slowly recovering after a manic trip to North Wales at the weekend. It was organised by our camera club - 10 events in two and a half days!! This included night time photography up until midnight and up with the birds to shoot the early morning light before breakfast. 

I've not had so much fun for a long time :)

These slates have been strung together with wire to create the most beautiful fencing. It goes on as far as the eye can see into the valley. 
 
I'm hoping to fill in a few gaps to my calendar for those interested.
