Brightness on a dull day

Yet more rain, wind and grey skies.  I did manage a walk over the brickfields at lunchtime when the weather had calmed down. Heard the cuckoo, saw a jay which moved as I took the shot (extra) and found out that the swans have moved to the private lake, so no photos:(  The waterlilies are just coming out.  Lots of raindrop photos too!
Had a headache today think its partly due to having a bad night and the weather!
