Merchant Seaman

This is one of many scenes of miniature seamen going about their business on a monument in Leith, just outside the Malmaison Hotel, which used to be the Sailor's Home. The figures are only about 6/7 inches high. The extra is another cute scene.  And I couldn't resist uploading one of Queen Victoria, resplendent in a Hibs scarf. I know nothing about football but  even I know that local Hibernian football team won the Scottish Cup Final against Rangers, the first time since 1902, so there was quite a celebration recently.
Probably my entry for this week's theme of BRONZE. (PS Just behind this photo is a bench with a bronze statue of Sandy Robertson sitting on it, which makes another good photo).
