Wake me when it's summer.

On Christmas day 2015 the temperature in many parts of the UK was 15c. Today, the first day of summer (ha, ha!) it has not risen above 12c in Northamptonshire or in Stamford,Lincolnshire, where I saw this shivering Mallard on the banks of the river, trying to keep warm.

Needless to say, the central heating is on again. Oh, where is the sun?
