Nerissa

Nerissa, a bronze sculpture by Thomas Richard McPhee,  overlooks Ganges harbour.  The mermaid is holding an astrolabe.  Unfortunately, birds land on her head and you can see the result.  There's more information here, with a photo of the sculpture before it was painted a golden colour.  I've included my original in the extra for comparison with the photo in the link.  The highlights bothered me, so I played around with it a bit.
