Empty Nest Ceremony

It was an important day in the life of starling family. The young were led out of the nest, all day they learned self-reliance. At the end of the day mom/dad starling threw away part of the nest and announced to their group that the juveniles already can fly. It was such an expressive theater, I didn't have to understand bird's language. Fascinating, how little we know about the communication of birds.
