Reflections On The Susquehanna

When scattered clouds are resting on the bosoms of hills, it seems as if one might climb into the heavenly region, earth being so intermixed with sky, and gradually transformed into it.

Remembering a late May day in 2012 when a solitary walk along the Susquehanna river afforded such an utterly magical view of puffy little cloudlets floating low over the still waters, so that one was hard put to determine where one ended and the other began.
