Calm before the storm

A simple Blip today, this is sunrise as seen from my home in Hackney. The flat area to the right of the sun is the Olympics Riverside Arena which is the venue for hockey during the games. If you look close you can see the spotlights are on already for the day ahead.

With only 1 day to go before the official opening ceremony there is a buzz of anticipation, uncertainty and awe in London as we prepare to host the world in our city.
