The way of nature

The Eaves of our home are, by design, left accessible for the birds and bats that frequent our garden. The House Sparrow nest every year. Looks like one of the hatchlings fell out of the nest through the night. They usually have a clutch of 4 to 5 hatchlings so fingers crossed the others survive... we will know in the morning, we usually get a dawn chorus as the nest is just to one side of our bedroom window..
