Calm after the storm

It's the season for late afternoon thunderstorms in DC. Makes for bad hair day (can you say frizzy?) but interesting scenery. This is the view from the terrace of the Kennedy Center where we caught the Royal Swedish Ballet in Juliet and Romeo.

It was a modern interpretation (complete with Segways and a male black swan in tutus) choreographed by Mats Ek using Tchaikovsky music. The variations certainly kept everyone on their toes and fully delighted :)

The extra is the final scene: Juliet and Romeo are dead as you might have guessed from the pair of legs sticking out from the stage...
