Schnecke

Schnecke is the German word for snail and slug. Sometimes slugs are called Nacktschnecke, which translates naked slug. Makes sense, I think.
This one isn't naked.

I spent the day moving around in Schneckentempo, which translates snails pace (except when the rain forced me to run to the car pushing a shopping cart in the morning. And back. And to the car again).
