Sachertorte mmmmmmmmmm

Sachertorte is a specific type of a chocolate cake, or torte invented by chance by Jewish Austrian Franz Sacher in 1832 for Klemens Wenzel von Metternich in Vienna, Austria. It is one of the most famous Viennese culinary specialties. The Original Sachertorte is made only in Vienna and Salzburg, and it is shipped from both locations. This was what we thought was the end of our traditional Austrian meal until the maitre D came with a 2 foot by 1 foot box filled with home made chocolate truffles and we just had to taste them too .... I love the Grand Europa Hotel in Innsbruck!
