The importance of tolerance

Here you have it all: an ultra modern skyscraper in the background, the steeple of an ancient church (at least by north American standard), flanked by a stripper bar, a state-of-the-art high tech shop and urban graffiti and an in-between 50 odd year old building.

With the upcoming provincial elections on Monday, there is a big debate right now in Québec concerning voting. The right to religious expression versus the right to political expression. We all benefit when everyone feels respected. Change is always a challenge.


Last day of meeting, can't wait to go home tomorrow. Weather was warm here today and I spent some time walking downtown this afternoon. I'm very tired and blipping doesn't seem to come easily.
