Follow the yellow...

I am currently undertaking a year long photographic study of a valley within the Peak District, this is a photograph I took today of one of my wanders through it. I really enjoy working in this place its got so many hidden areas of industry both ongoing and historical, local and national economic input and diverse habitat for wildlife.

I found this area quite oppressive and dark but with the little yellow arrows marked on the coppicing every now and again but the undergrowth is very tangled and drags at you as you move through it. here is another one but a more obvious path :) it will totally change atmosphere in the spring and summer.
