Eye to eye

I spent the morning walking around Alyth. I don't know it well; it's a small town with a real sense of community, but it is still suffering from the effects of flash flooding last summer. My extra photo is Alyth Burn that runs through the centre of the town.

My main photo is the last one of the day - an (unknown) insect that landed on Mrs P's glasses. Fortunately she isn't nervous of such things, and was happy to pause while I photographed it. Any identifications?
