Hubble Bubble...

A beautiful day with little wind.   Very warm and sunny.

Today there has been a Fiesta on the grassed area on the Promenade.   Gzeboes were set up with tables and some chairs, music, games and dancing for the youngsters.(see extra)   A giant pot of Pisto was cooking slowly over a wooden fire.   We met friends there and sat relaxing having a beer from the temporary bar - someone else making lunch!   (Provided by the Local Council).

Stacks of eggs were cracked into deep hot oil and 'fried'.   We were served the pisto with a fried egg and chunk of bread.   It tasted delicious. A traditional dish to be found in most bars - mainly as tapa, although it is traditionally a breakfast dish, although probably only eaten now as breakfast in rural communities.   I guess at some point it was all there was to eat.

The beach was filling up with yachts, wind surfers and fishermen on the rocks.(see extra)   I think summer started today!
