An emergency garden blip
Having sat through the whole of Andy Murray's match I'm afraid that tonight it has to be an emergency garden blip. This is one of our alliums backed by a similar coloured hebe bush. I am always amazed by the geometrical shape of the allium, almost a perfect sphere. I guess its no wonder that we humans eventually cottoned on to the best shape for a wheel. Nature was there before us.
Even though I am an intrepid Murray fan, I always thought that he might lose in four sets to the amazingly consistent Djokovic and thought he could be well pleased this year with his progress on clay especially after that marvellous match with Wawrinka where he rarely put a foot wrong.
