The Box

This box was made by my grandfather over 100 years ago and came to light when the effects from my aunt's house were being sorted out. His name is on the brass plate on the lid. G has been working on rubbing it down and waxing it and today we delivered it to my daughter in Bristol for her to put to use. It's nice to think that a simple piece of carpentry will remain in the family for many more years to come.
