the nicest surprise

the end of my working day took a very nice turn when I got a call from my best friend Caroline offering me a lift home, a very welcome alternative to the bus!

AND she had bought us both ice cream!! which we errr sat eating in her car in the retail park!


my office is on the first floor of the building in the left of this photo, unfortunately it's on the sunny side and today we experiemented with putting bottles of frozen water in front of the fans which sort of worked as air conditioning! (30 degrees today but yesterday it was stifling at 33!)
