Arka Gdynia

Staying in Gdynia on the Baltic coast for a couple of days. While I was walking back to the hotel in the late afternoon I was caught up in celebrations for the success of the local football team, which is called Arka Gdynia.

It was loud and exuberant and I discovered that the flares create a fountain of ash which rains down on everybody in the vicinity. I was covered in it.

Although it looks like it is dark in the photograph, it is actually a bright and very sunny late afternoon.
