Freedom

After another wet day and confined to base with my ankle; by late evening I was going stir crazy. So we decided to go for a drive and headed up the Bernina Pass where we parked at the summit. I managed to hobble a few meters to take in the view and feel the cool breeze, it was bliss! The lake was still partially frozen and the lowering clouds gave an atmosphere that was therapy for the soul.
