Hello Petal

This was a last minute gift from my sister when we left to go home today.  It's now brightening up my garden in all it's fuchsia pink glory. Would love to know what it is if any of my fellow Blipstars can help me please?

Exhausted after the five hour journey home but it's always nice to get back and we seem to have brought to lovely weather with us too. Let's hope it holds as am home with little miss tomorrow and Tuesday as she has a couple of inset days tagged onto the half term break.

NB Have since found out this is called a Bromeliad.
