Weirdo Tortoise

This is one of the weird tortoises from next door.  Did you know that tortoises love strawberries?  It was news to me.

So, survived another Monday.  It was looking quite grim in the early hours - sleep half an hour, awake for an hour all through the night and then Munni decided to have a howl at me just after 5, in case I wasn't tired enough...

So I stayed in bed and tried to sleep some.  But although we've had thunder storms. the air is still incredibly heavy and sticky and sleep is just not easy.

I got up and tried to go to work.  The bus, naturally, was late when it arrived at the bus stop.  No Matter, I thought, I'll be in work in 40 minutes... And then the bus driver opened the doors to reveal that the enire bus was full of moppets and poppets from some Kindergarten.  Not a place to stand or to sit was to be had.

I got there eventually.

And it was a hot day. Phone ringing, E-Mails pinging and all sorts of questions flyng around.  I bolted for the shadows as soon as I could.

Early bed tonight, with probably (gasp) an open bedroom window.
