Dragonflies

Another scorcher of a day. Busy in the garden when I heard this splash coming from the pond. I stood to see what was making the noise but the pond is very green just now but eventually I saw something and it was a big eel. Looks about  over foot in length. While I was watching I saw these dragonflies mating.
