Birdworld

We had a lovely day out today with Sophie and George, and her friend Molly and Ellen.
We went to Birdworld near Aldershot, initially with some reservations as we are not fans of zoos.
However, the animals had good enclosures, some of which you could walk through with free flying birds. There were some amazing hornbills, and great bustards. They contribute to the conservation project by hatching eggs for reintroduction to Salisbury Plain.
Also a children's farm with piglets and goats.
The most amazing hot sunny day, and excellent ice cream cones!
