Eastern Terminus

A cool and crisp day in Edinburgh. A slight  easterly breeze off the north sea means its not as warm as it looks in the photograph

Looking down the Union Canal towards the Leamington Lift Bridge from the Viewforth Bridge.. The is the eastern terminus of the Canal that connects Edinburgh and Falkirk.

I took today off, and went for a shortish bike ride in the morning, had lunch, then decided to get the bus down to Morningside and walk to Tollcross for afternoon coffee. And cake.
