Strange flower

Bought this a few years ago so the name is lost but it is a very unique bloom. Usually it blooms for a short while but I like it anyway.  The extra is our first rose of the year. Roses are always a great addition to our yard and I am waiting with minimal patience for the bushes to fully bloom.
