E and the owl

I had my weekly squash duel with E this morning and she showed me this photo (which was actually taken yesterday).

E was visiting family in Southampton at the weekend and they went to a falconry in the New Forest. Her photos and videos of the various owls and raptors are brilliant! It sounds like a fantastic place.

This photo is of an owl coming in to land on E's arm. She also has a great image of a Harris Hawk (native to USA) sitting on her head!

Home again now, with various chores on my list of things to do. It rained last night and the garden is very happy for it; lovely and warm again now, though.
