The green monster

After dinner, we took a nice long walk in the park with the girls. We saw many herons, egrets , ospreys and ducks. But it was this guy that I chose to capture for my photo of the day. He just silently stared at us swimming in the green slime! So glad I had the dogs on a leash!!!. It felt so good to be able to get outside and exercise after being cooped up inside with two days of rain. We were very fortunate that we did not have any flooding. Just a lot of fallen branches and leaves!
