Together

We ALL (yes Sam came too - you don't know how happy that made me) got on our bikes and cycled to the beach from home. It was a beautiful day and it was so great to be out in the sun together. Murron smiled like the Cheshire Cat all the way there. We had a picnic on the beach, paddled in the sea and collected shells before cycling home again. The smiles wobbled a little on the final mile, but were soon back in place after a restorative shower and ice lolly. The girls did brilliantly as they cycled about 20 miles, most of which were uphill on the return journey.

We ate outside as the sun went down over the fields, just sitting and enjoying the moment. There just haven't been enough of these still warm evenings this year.
