An early morning blip, gathered before a shift at work, my first for almost three weeks.  In my absence a merger with a rival firm has moved a step closer.  My shop is one of those which may be sold off to seal the deal, meaning that I could find myself working for a new employer after 34 years with the same firm - bizarre.
