A view from St Swithin

On the boat.

Another lovely warm day. We cycled from our hotel along Wolfgangsee Lake to St Gilgen which is famous for being then birthplace of Mozart' s mother. After some coffee we took the boat back to St Wolfgang for lunch. The boat was busy ( see blip ) and I suspect this area is hooching in the peak of the summer season.
In the afternoon we took the steam railway to the top of the Schafberg (1780m) for some fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. Still no sign though of Julie Andrews.
