Cairngorm Mountain Railway

Day 3

Having climbed the mountain several times before the hard way, we decided to take the easy route to the top. This is at the mid way passing point. It's like a roller coaster, except slower, thankfully.

An 8 minute journey, with impressive views from the top, at over 4,000 feet. It was gusting at around 100mph, and I was almost blown off my feet, rather scary. However, the six of us tried to line up for a photograph and couldn't stand still. It was such a good laugh.

Tea and cake with a view at the highest restaurant in Britain, before heading back down the mountain.
