The one that got away.

The phantom strimmers missed one plant. Here is one of its flowers.

I guess most followers know about fly orchids. In case anyone does not: the flower has evolved to look like a fly. A real fly lands on it in the hope of some pleasurable procreation. In the process it collects pollen from the two pollineas and then, being slow to learn, it tries again on the flower of a another fly orchid and this time deposits pollen and fertilises the plant.
