Life before the Lanyon

Queen's and its collaborators have created 'the meadow of 1,500 paper wildflowers that have sprung up in front of the Lanyon.
Native wildflower seed has been embedded into each paper flower, representing species that would have once been common in our countryside, such as lesser knapweed, common poppy and yarrow.
In the autumn, urban primary schools across Northern Ireland will use the plantable paper to grow wildflowers that will provide vital food for bees, butterflies and birds'.
