NEW FOREST

Rushed about getting bits together for my anniversary surprise for The Rev. Sadly he was off doing a funeral.
We left home at 11:00 and headed to the New Forest for
# our afternoon tea stop. We then continued our journey...after 10 mins I asked...M:how much was the afternoon tea
REV:I don't know
M:Didn't you pay
REV: No I thought you did...oops...quick turn around to go back and pay!!!!
Back on the road....it was completely blocked....there had been a big accident and the police had closed the road.
Maybe we were meant to turn back?!?
#we arrived at our hotel South Lawn eventually. Quickly dropped off our luggage and headed back out to meet Derek. He was The Revs boss in the oil industry for many years and taught him a great deal...they spent most of the evening reminiscing!!!!

160/366....a chance to go on a long evening walk with D (12,300 steps today!) and then enjoy a pub meal
