Jean at 90

Actually it was her birthday in March... she's the same age as the Queen. 

Jean's been in her Upminster care home for just over a year and (after fierce initial resistance) she loves it. She has dementia and is prone to repetition (aren't we all!) but she's very happy in herself. A constant stream of staff and residents pop by to say hello and deliver her laundry and lunch, she has her hair done regularly and generally looks a picture of health. We wheeled her out for a spin in the gardens. 

Then, we drove back to Norwich, enjoyed a Yo Sushi before going to see the very brilliant 'All or Nothing' musical of Steve Marriott's life. 

All in all, a lovely day out!
