Rooftops

15.3C and cloudy and misty. Moderate Easterly breeze..

We went the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach to Carskey Bay where we had a walk with Maeve the Deerhound from one end of the beach to the other and back. The tide was well out so we walked along the hard damp sand near the water. The sea was a quite choppy. A small creel boat was bobbing up and down as it made its way along. No paddling today.

There were one or two seals on the rocks between Keil and Dunaverty.

The light was quite flat when we were at the beach so I waited until we were home and got this shot from the back bedroom window upstairs over the distillery and the rooftops in the area of town at the top of Main Street.
