Early marsh orchid

I went for a lovely trip today to Ferring rife to see the Early marsh orchids which grow there in profusion.
This beauty is Dactylorhiza incarnata ssp. Incarnata, a beautiful pale pink colour, there were also sub species pulchella a much larger purple plant growing there and Common spotted orchids, and lots of hybrids between the them.
It was fascinating, but you would need to be a lot more patient than I am to sort them all out!
I also found the wonderful beetle Drilus flavescens, whose larva I blipped last summer (29th August) that eats snails. The males have the most amazing antennae, I have added a shot in my extras
