Forge Mill

The Redditch area of Worcestershire, south-east of Birmingham, was the world's major needle-making district in the nineteenth century, turning out some 3,500 million needles a year in the 1870s.
The Forge Mill Needle Museum is an industrial museum of the Redditch needle making and fishing tackle industries, housed in the original mill buildings. It features water-powered working machinery in a unique needle scouring mill.
