Star Baker

It's Gala weekend in the village. One of today's events was Mintlaw's equivalent of the great British bake off which is combined with a baking competition for children.and adults. I've volunteered with the Gala committee for a few years now and was charged today to capture this event for posterity. What I couldn't capture though was the amazing smell of baking in the hall! It's been a good day despite the unseasonal weather. Hoping for a drier day tomorrow....
